One Session
One Session is a short film about a young psychologist who risks their professionalism by going to their employer's home in search of guidance after their first trauma-sensitive case. It was written and directed by a senior film major at Champlain College.
I collaborated with the director to brainstorm the color palette and vibe of the poster. I asked them to make a list of words that described the film. I used an image of the main character, Robin, and created a vector image in Adobe Illustrator. We chose a sepia-toned image of the main character, Robin, staring pensively out the window. The emotional impact this has on viewers aligns with the director's vision and tells you without using a single word what the film is about.
